Take Action Now – Confirm Judge Gorsuch

By ACLJ.org1491337526616

Judge Gorsuch epitomizes everything a great Supreme Court justice should be. He is an originalist, textualist, and believes in upholding the rule of law and the U.S. Constitution, leaving the law making to the other branches of government. Every American and U.S. Senator of any political persuasion should celebrate him as the model of judicial excellence.

The left-leaning American Bar Association gave Judge Gorsuch their highest possible rating, “well qualified” to serve on the Supreme Court of the United States.

But petty partisanship and obstinate obstructionism are threatening to stop this extremely qualified nominee from sitting on the Supreme Court.

The Left has officially launched an all-out filibuster. They will stop at nothing to defeat a constitutional conservative on the Supreme Court.

The American people must fight back. You must be heard.

That’s why we are calling on you to demand your U.S. Senators do the right thing – vote to confirm Judge Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.

This absurd attempt to filibuster a Supreme Court nominee is unprecedented in recent history and must not stand.

Those Senators who are threatening to filibuster and not allow an up-or-down vote need to hear from their constituents.

The American people spoke in the 2016 election, when the vacant seat on the Supreme Court was a major issue on voter’s minds. President Trump followed through on his promise by appointing a judge on his list of potential nominees.

And now it’s up to the U.S. Senate to confirm Judge Gorsuch, invoking the “nuclear option” – the Constitutional option – if necessary. Every Supreme Court case for decades is on the line.  We’re aggressively fighting on Capitol Hill to defend the Constitution at the Supreme Court.

This is a battle we must win. But we need your voice. Sign our petition below, so as we advocate tirelessly on Capitol Hill and on the airwaves, we can use your signature to send an even bigger message.

But this fight requires even more of you.  Call the Senate switchboard to contact your U.S. Senators – 202-224-3121. Tell them to confirm Judge Gorsuch without delay.

Call these U.S. Senators and urge them not to filibuster Judge Gorsuch’s nomination:

Senator Charles Schumer (New York) (202) 224-6542
Senator Jon Tester (Montana) (202) 224-2644
Senator Claire McCaskill (Missouri) (202) 224-6154
Senator Bill Nelson (Florida) (202) 224-5274
Senator Sherrod Brown (Ohio) (202) 224-2315
Senator Bob Casey (Pennsylvania) (202) 224-6324
Senator Tammy Baldwin (Wisconsin) 202-224-5653
Senator Debbie Stabenow (Michigan) (202) 224-4822

And contact these U.S. Senators and urge them to do whatever it takes to ensure Judge Gorsuch gets an up-or-down vote and is confirmed to the Supreme Court. Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid already changed the rules. He opened the door. It’s time to employ the constitutional option – a simple majority vote to confirm Judge Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.

Call these Senators Now:

Senator Mitch McConnell (Kentucky) (202) 224-2541
Senator John Cornyn (Texas) (202) 224-2934
Senator John Thune (South Dakota) (202) 224-2321
Senator Roy Blunt (Missouri) (202) 224-5721
Senator John Barrasso (Wyoming) 202-224-6441
Senator Cory Gardner (Colorado) (202) 224-5941
Senator Susan Collins (Maine) 202-224-2523
Senator John McCain (Arizona) (202) 224-2235
Senator Bob Corker (Tennessee) 202-224-3344
Senator Lamar Alexander (Tennessee) (202) 224-4944
Senator Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) (202) 224-6665
