Christians and churches face a new wave of targeted attacks.
Local governments are trying to force out Christian organizations, treating churches completely differently than any other group. They are literally banning churches and their ministries from entire towns. In other situations, they are barring churches and religious schools from using their own property for worship, ministry, and education. This invidious discrimination is outrageous and unconstitutional.
Religious discrimination is infecting every area of America. Even a realtor was banned by a government agency from including “Jesus loves you” in her email signature.
At the ACLJ, we’ve been fighting these cases for decades, all the way to the Supreme Court. We are fighting in multiple federal appeals courts to ensure that churches and their ministries are not banned. And we’re ready to take this fight to the Supreme Court.
