She Tried to Share Bible Verses at School. They Confiscated Them. Will You Help Defend Her?

A 5th-grade Christian girl with special needs brought Bible verses to school – and school officials took them away, told her to stop, and left her in tears. The ACLJ is defending her rights. But we need your voice now.

Imagine being told your faith is offensive. Imagine your child being punished for sharing the hope of Jesus.

That’s what happened to a young student in Texas. She brought slips of paper with uplifting Bible verses to school – a small act of faith and love – only to be humiliated and silenced by her school’s principal and teacher.

The school district has now claimed no religious materials can ever be shared, not even during free time.

This isn’t just wrong. It’s unconstitutional.

The ACLJ is taking action to defend this child and her mother, but we need thousands of believers like you to speak up and say this is NOT okay.

Add your name right now to our petition:

“I stand with this student and call on Killeen ISD to immediately stop its unconstitutional ban on religious speech. Christian students have the right to share their faith. I urge you to restore and respect the First Amendment.”
