Unhinged Professor Attacks Pro-Life Students and Threatens Journalist With Machete
Pro-life activists are so used to having verbal assaults hurled at them by extreme abortion supporters that they almost don’t even bat an eye. But when the radical Left resorts to violence and terrorist tactics to get their way, it’s too dangerous to overlook.
A pro-life group called Students for Life had set up a table at the Hunter College student center to peacefully provide literature and speak with willing students – until an angry Leftist college professor approached the table and began spewing obscenities and insults and throwing their material on the ground.
A professor at a New York public college appeared to shout down pro-life students before snagging and throwing items in their display, accusing the students of spreading “propaganda” and “triggering” other students.
Hunter College students were manning a table displaying pro-life literature earlier this month when they were confronted by an angry professor, who shouted profanities at the students before tossing materials off the table, video of the interaction shows.
As if this deranged behavior wasn’t bad enough, when a journalist for the New York Post attempted to speak with Rodriguez at her apartment, she immediately confronted the reporter with a machete in hand and held it to his neck. The Post reported on the attack, along with a video of the incident:
Disturbing video shows the moment a machete-wielding Manhattan college professor menacingly chased a New York Post reporter and photographer down the street Tuesday.
Veteran scribe Reuven Fenton and a photographer had just left Shellyne Rodriguez’s Bronx apartment building — where she held the machete to the reporter’s neck after he knocked on her door to ask her about a viral video in which she curses out anti-abortion students.
She then followed The Post journalists out into the street, machete in hand, dashcam footage shows.
So is the radical Left so far gone that it is now willing to adopt the tactics of terrorists like ISIS to defend its extreme abortion agenda? This woman who has been entrusted with influencing the minds of college students told a member of the press, who merely wanted to ask for her side of the story, “I’m gonna chop you up.”
By the way, the college has rightly terminated the teacher, but even they didn’t act until AFTER she threatened to murder a reporter. When she harassed and assaulted students, they seemingly turned their heads with a shrug. Even the teacher’s union feebly attempted to defend the professor’s violent actions.
Honestly, we’re almost surprised she was fired, given that she’s not even in jail at this time. You cannot put a blade to another human’s neck and threaten to MURDER THEM and walk around free from repercussions. But then, we are talking about New York.
Clearly, our fight has escalated. The crazed Left is willing not only to threaten to kill a journalist but also literally hold a blade to his throat. What will they be willing to do to doctors at pro-life pregnancy centers now, especially when this woman is walking around the streets of New York, free as a bird?
Sadly, we need to be ready for anything, but we will not back down. We will not be silenced or intimidated, even by these chaotic acts of violence. The lives of hundreds of thousands of unborn babies depend on it.
