The President is standing up to the House Democrats’ charade.

On today’s broadcast, we discussed the President’s administration deciding to block the testimony of U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland before the House Intelligence Committee that was scheduled for today.

The reason being this is a charade taking place at the House of Representatives. There’s no Due Process.  And there’s a history of this.

Let’s not forget where this started -  Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, and the whole Russia collusion myth. There was no collusion. Mueller found no evidence of collusion.

Then the claim was obstruction of Mueller’s investigation – except Mueller was able to complete his investigation with no trouble. And he still couldn’t make a decision as to what standard would equate to obstruction.  The Department of Justice saw the report and said there’s no obstruction.

So then they cried “Oh, there was a quid pro quo with Ukraine.” And then the transcript of the call between the President and the president of Ukraine was released, and it was clear: there’s no quid pro quo. They claim there’s a whistleblower, but Rep. Adam Schiff says neither he nor anyone from his staff spoke to the whistleblower. Only to find out that they did, and Schiff had to admit it.

And it turned out the whistleblower neglected to include in their reports that they had conversations with the House. But don’t worry about that, because along comes “Whistleblower # 2” to clear things up.

The transcript is out. There’s no secret. It’s there in black and white. There’s nothing there.

Here’s what I believe is really happening right now. Now Adam Schiff says the decision  to not let the ambassador testify is an obstruction of the power of Congress. As if exercising constitutional protections and prerogatives of the executive branch as set forth by Article 2 United States Constitution is subverting an act of Congress. No. It is in fact protecting the Constitution.

Democrats are trying to weaponize the constitution for their own agenda. I don’t care whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat or whatever party you belong to, the one thing you DON’T DO is trample on the U. S. Constitution.  And if the President, in consultation with his lawyers, and others including the Department of Justice, believe there are important executive privilege issues here that emanate from the constitution itself, those are protected. That cannot be the basis for an impeachment proceeding.

But of course this impeachment fiasco comes from a House of Representatives that is saying no attorney-client privilege – the very foundation of our judicial system. Take the Constitution and throw it out the door.

And that is why the ambassador is not going to testify. This charade has been exposed for what it is. This is the reality of what we’re dealing with. We are not going to allow these so-called inquiries to do turn into a destruction of the U.S. Constitution, and we’re fighting back. So is the White House.

How the Left Uses Labels to Shutdown Criticism

By Wesley Smith1563810146006

No one enjoys criticism. It is a normal human reaction to become defensive when someone vociferously objects to our opinions or actions. It is unpleasant to have one’s shortcomings or ideas placed under a microscope for review. In the age of social media and a 24-hour news cycle, politicians and...
