Quaratiello v. Raymond
Defending Conservative Lawmaker Fired From Library for Her "Political Values" Because She Spoke Out To Defend Parents and Children
STATUS:
In Court

The ACLJ just filed a new federal lawsuit to defend the constitutional rights of Representative Arlene R. Quaratiello, a conservative Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. Her service in the legislature is part-time, and our client started a full-time job as a librarian at the Dudley Tucker Library in December 2022. She was then fired for her "political values." We must defend the rights of public employees to speak out on the crucial issues affecting our country.
