A top Biden advisor calls for a six week nationwide shutdown.

On today’s Jay Sekulow Live, we discussed how a top Biden COVID-19 advisor is advocating for a 4-6 week shutdown. That advisor also bizarrely suggested the shutdown would revive the U.S. economy.

Stuart Varney talked about this on Fox News on this earlier today:

One of incoming President Biden’s top advisors says shut it down from 4 to 6 weeks and if you read The Washington Post today, there’s an op-ed there that says shut it down, the whole country. Shut it down from 4 to 6 weeks. That's their answer to the second wave. I think it will be flat out disastrous. Have you ever considered the economic effects of shutting down this economy all over again for 4 to 6 weeks. What about the social effects? All those people, locked up at home with people that they may not be getting along with very well. Suicide, depression, all of that comes into play, and yet they seem to be gung ho for another national lockdown.

So there we have it. Dr. Michael Osterholm, a top Biden advisor on COVID-19 is advocating for a 4-6 week shutdown. Dr. Osterholm is on the COVID-19 task force that Vice President Biden has put together, along with Zeke Emmanuel. Remember, yesterday we told you that Mr. Emmanuel said America should not get all the vaccine first – even though we paid for the creation of it – that we should only get enough to bring numbers down and then give it out to the rest of the world.

Now this all makes sense. It’s this America Last policy instead of America First.  Their  recommendation is to get just enough of the vaccine out so the numbers decline a bit and then initiate a nationwide lockdown. That means going back to what we did for weeks back in March, but for up to six weeks. It would be destructive to our communities.

But this proposal is nothing new. Vice President Biden talked about this throughout the campaign.  Now he’s got top advisors talking about shutting down the entire U.S. economy, the schools, workplaces, travel, restaurants, and more for six weeks.
