Last night President Biden gave his first primetime speech to the entire country, and somehow took credit for the COVID vaccine.

Today on Sekulow, we discussed last night’s primetime address by President Biden during which he took credit for the COVID-19 vaccine, completely ignoring Operation Warp Speed, the vaccination rollout initiative created by President Trump.

This was President Biden’s first formal address to the nation as President of the United States. He focused on COVID-19. Instead of preaching unity as he did in his inaugural address, President Biden immediately took a dig at former President Trump and the previous Administration:

A year ago, we were hit with a virus that was met with silence and spread unchecked. Denials for days, weeks, then months that led to more deaths, more infections, more stress and more loneliness. Photos and videos from 2019 feel like they were taken in another era, the last vacation, the last birthday with friends, the last holiday with extended family. While it was different for everyone, we all lost something. A collective suffering, a collective sacrifice.

He’s forgetting that a year ago President Trump put in place Operation Warp Speed. And as a result, we now have vaccines across the country. President Biden acted like the Trump Administration did nothing. What about the 15 Days to Slow the Spread? Behind the scenes, President Trump was doing all he could to make sure that the United States beat the COVID-19 virus in about a year. Because of those actions, it now looks like we are on track to do that.

If President Biden truly wanted unity, he would give his predecessor credit for the hard work the Trump Administration did to combat the COVID-19 virus. Before President Biden was even sworn in to office, he received the COVID-19 vaccine himself, due in large part to the hard work President Trump did.

We are in the middle of our Matching Challenge month and we need your help. As you know, we at the ACLJ do critically important work. That work includes defending the unborn, exposing the Deep State, fighting for religious freedoms, and bringing you the information you need on this broadcast.

Just this week I personally addressed the United Nations Human Rights Council on behalf of persecuted and dying Christians. We simply could not do all of our critical work without your support.

The Matching Challenge means that every dollar donated is effectively doubled. That means that $5 becomes $10. $10 becomes $20. Please support the work of the ACLJ by donating today.

The full broadcast is complete with much more discussion and analysis President Biden’s first primetime speech by our team, including ACLJ Senior Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy Ric Grenell. You can also view some of my presentation before the United Nations Human Rights Council.
