Protect the Vulnerable – Veto Infanticide Concealment Bill
Washington’s Senate just passed one of the most grotesque and deceptive bills we’ve seen. SB 5093 is disguised as a law to support women grieving pregnancy loss — but underneath the misleading title lies something far more sinister.
This bill:
- Strips criminal penalties for concealing the birth of a child — a move that protects abusers and traffickers.
- Blocks coroners from investigating abortion-related deaths — gutting accountability and opening the door to infanticide.
- Directly contradicts state laws requiring care for babies born alive during botched abortions.
This isn’t compassion. This is calculated deception. The Washington state legislature is trying to quietly remove protections for newborns — and silence anyone who notices.
