Angry atheists and anti-Christian extremists have long been abusing the federal court system, rushing to court claiming to be offended by public expressions of prayer or religious liberty.

When Texas teacher Staci Barber quietly prayed at her school’s flagpole—as she had done for years—school officials ordered her to stop, claiming even silent prayer was inappropriate if students could see her. The ACLJ immediately stepped in to defend Staci’s rights.

We’ve fought these attacks for decades, defeating attempts to shut down churches and successfully defending prayer at the Supreme Court.
