Protect Prayer and Religious Liberty
Prayer is under attack.
Angry atheists and anti-Christian extremists have long been abusing the federal court system, rushing to court claiming to be offended by public expressions of prayer or religious liberty.
When Texas teacher Staci Barber quietly prayed at her school’s flagpole—as she had done for years—school officials ordered her to stop, claiming even silent prayer was inappropriate if students could see her. The ACLJ immediately stepped in to defend Staci’s rights.
We’ve fought these attacks for decades, defeating attempts to shut down churches and successfully defending prayer at the Supreme Court.
We’re also expanding our efforts to stop these abhorrent attacks on prayer and religious liberty nationwide, and we’ll go all the way to the Supreme Court again if necessary.
Even though President Trump continues actively fighting for religious liberty, these attacks persist.
Your immediate action—your signature—strengthens our efforts to defend prayer in courts nationwide.
