“It’s disturbing and gross, and almost satanic.”

That’s how my brother Logan Sekulow described what Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams told a crowd of people at an event Wednesday.

Abrams just accused the entire medical and scientific communities of colluding to create a grand conspiracy. Mind you Abrams is neither a doctor or a scientist, as far as anyone knows, yet according to this pro-abortion, would-be governor – remember Abrams ran and lost a bid for governor in 2018 to current GA Governor Brian Kemp – had the audacity to tell an audience:

“There is no such thing as a heartbeat at six weeks. It is a manufactured sound designed to convince people that men have the right to take control of a woman’s body.”

Honestly, the first time I heard Abrams say this, I was speechless. Anyone who’s ever heard their child’s heartbeat in a doctor’s office for the first time through an ultrasound machine knows what an emotional moment that is for all parents. Abrams is telling you it’s all a lie. Apparently, you, like myself, were foolish enough to fall for this “pro-life conspiracy.” All those memories that you cherish aren’t even real, according to Stacey Abrams.

But what’s truly terrifying to me was the cool, authoritative manner with which she proclaimed this offensive drivel. It’s nothing but a venomous lie.

Listen, I’m originally from Georgia, as is my brother Logan, and our mother. The people of Georgia deserve better than to be lied to by someone who lies to their faces with such an unfathomable evil deception with a smile on her face, just to promote her extreme abortion agenda.

So is Stacey Abrams really willing to lie in order to have more babies be aborted? Does she really have zero compunction about sacrificing even more innocent babies to fulfill her quest for power?

And think about this: Stacey Abrams is essentially slandering the reputation of ultrasound machine manufacturers with this absurd statement. Not to mention isn’t she then also accusing the American Medical Association (AMA) of being part of this conspiracy as well?

Are any of these organizations going to sue Stacey Abrams for billions of dollars, the way Dominion has been allowed to sue anyone who questioned their machines? After all, Abrams is basically saying they were in on some big con crafted “to convince people that men have the right to take control of a woman’s body” by creating a sound effect in their machines. It’s simply ludicrous.

Now here’s where things get even crazier. One day after Abrams made this claim, abortion juggernaut Planned Parenthood edited a so-called “Fact Sheet” by removing language that stated: “In the fifth and sixth week of gestation, a very basic beating heart and circulatory system develops.” Wait, but Stacey Abrams said there is no such thing as a six-week heartbeat. Oops.

So was Planned Parenthood lying all this time about this “fake” six-week heartbeat thing? Was their science wrong and it took Abrams to alert them to their mistake? Or, did this delusional statement from Abrams force them to scramble in order to support the candidate it knows it can control, and they made the choice to delete the facts and further perpetuate what they know to be a lie? Which do you think is more likely?

She knows there is zero science behind that statement. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn she just thought of it right there on the stage. And imagine this is someone who wants to lead an entire state, and more than likely has her sights set beyond Georgia.

Oh, and speaking of elections, don’t forget that Stacey Abrams also openly disputed and denounced the results of the 2018 gubernatorial election because, as I said earlier, she lost. It really seems like Abrams just cannot accept anything that doesn’t support her abortion agenda. Not even the truth.

THERE IS NO SIX-WEEK HEARTBEAT CONSPIRACY. Stop denying science. Stop knowingly selling lies as truth. Stop selling your abortion distortion. It’s a bad look.

Today’s full Sekulow broadcast includes further in-depth discussion regarding this shocking claim from Stacey Abrams, as well as other important issues affecting ACLJ members. We are also joined by my friend Chris West, another Georgian who is concerned about the people and policies of his home state.
