Vincent Lambert is alive. He is awake. But against his family’s wishes, French officials want to end his life.
Vincent, 42, sustained severe brain injuries in a car accident and has remained on life support in France.
Vincent Lambert is not brain dead. He breathes on his own. He turns his head and follows people with his eyes. He sleeps at night and is awake in the day.
Although fully capable of swallowing, Vincent receives his nutrition through a gastric tube.
Despite clear signs of life, and the appeals of his heartbroken mother, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruled in favor of removing his tube, essentially starving him to death.
Our ECLJ office in France initiated an appeal to the U.N. Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities which agreed that disabled individuals must not be starved to death. A French appeal court ruled that the French government must comply with the U.N. and keep Vincent alive while a committee reviews the case.
We will continue fighting at the United Nations, the ECHR, and the French government to protect Vincent’s life. Take action with us.
As we aggressively urge the French government to protect Vincent Lambert, your gift today could help us save his and many other lives.
Your voice will have a tremendous impact. Please consider supporting our work with a tax-deductible donation using the form to the right. Thank you.

Flip flopping Joe Biden shows his spineless nature again, flippantly deciding after four decades of supporting the Hyde Amendment, that it suddenly has to go. On today’s broadcast, we discussed Presidential candidate and former Obama VP Joe Biden’s answer to criticism from Planned Parenthood,
Does it matter who the President of the United States is? You bet it does. Especially to those fighting to defend innocent unborn lives. President Trump has just shut down the horrific practice of the federal government using, or funding the use of, human tissue remains from elective abortions for...
