She’s made a career thus far out of making inflammatory remarks. She stood up for terrorists. Now wants to mischaracterize pro-life laws as so-called “religious fundamentalism.” She seems to be on a mission to see how many Americans she can attack. We have to ask the question, who is Rep. Ilhan Omar?

On today’s show, we discussed Rep. Omar’s audacious accusation against the pro-life movement, claiming that standing against killing babies is religious fundamentalism. From the House floor, Rep. Omar stated:

“Religious fundamentalists are currently trying to manipulate state laws in order to impose their beliefs on an entire society – all with complete disregard for voices and the rights of American women. The recent efforts like those in Alabama and Georgia are only the latest in a long history of efforts to criminalize women for simply existing and to punish us when we don't conform to their attempts to control us."

I had to ask if Rep. Omar, who claims to be such a staunch, faithful Muslim, knows that her own religion prohibits abortion? Omar wears a hijab, something many women in the Muslim world are now fighting against, and dares to claim pro-lifers are disregarding the “voices and the rights” of women.

Omar shows a real lack of understanding. She uses the term “religious fundamentalists” against the pro-life movement, when it is religious fundamentalist Muslims who have been carrying out terrorist attacks across the world. Does she not see that’s hypocritical?

She is mischaracterizing pro-life “religious fundamentalists” as trying to impose their beliefs on society, which is exactly what Islamic extremists do. And this same Omar has lobbied for lighter punishments for men convicted of trying to join ISIS – the deadly Islamic terrorist group.

And remember, as a sitting member of Congress, Rep. Omar has made public anti-Semitic comments including saying Jews are “all about the Benjamins” and trivialized the tragedy of Sept. 11, 2001, which was committed by Islamic terrorists as “some people did something.”

So who is Rep Ilhan Omar? What kind of congresswoman is she? Every time the radical Left makes these outrageous statements, we will fight back.
