Over the next two weeks, Congress is scheduled to vote on some of the most significant pro-life bills in decades.

With these vital votes looming, investigative journalists at the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) have revealed more barbarity  of Planned Parenthood and its pro-abortion allies.

In the 10th and latest video from CMP, there are new and disturbing revelations – boasting of acquiring “fresh”  aborted baby parts and discussion of profiting from the sale of these baby body parts. One senior executive with Planned Parenthood Federation of America talks about independent colleagues generating “a fair amount of income” by butchering babies and selling their parts for money, admitting the potential public relations issues  arising from such practices.

“We’re just trying to figure this out as an industry, about how we’re going to manage remuneration, because the headlines would be a disaster,” said the National Director of Planned Parenthood’s Consortium of Abortion Providers. “If you do decide that you want to engage in remuneration, then you need to, like, think that through, and think New York Times headline when you’re creating your policy.”

It’s no wonder that she suggests that Planned Parenthood be careful in documenting this activity: “It’s an issue that you might imagine we’re not really that comfortable talking about on email.”

So when they are trying to determine their policy on selling baby parts, their first concern involves public relations – and concern that “the headlines would be a disaster” – and  not the law or basic medical or moral ethics?  Of course, this is not surprising for an organization that slaughters hundreds of thousands of unborn babies each year without batting an eye.

The Federalist discusses one telling portion of the video that captures a discussion between two Planned Parenthood employees.

A conversation between VanDerhrei and Vanessa Russo, compliance program administrator for Planned Parenthood Keystone States, reveal some of the tensions between the national and local levels of the organization surrounding the lack of national policy on the organ-trafficking side of the organization.

Russo says that exchanging money for baby parts is “a valid exchange and that’s okay.” She goes on to explain that Planned Parenthood shouldn’t be “bullied by ridiculous laws and this media that doesn’t understand the big picture.” She vents some of her frustrations of the lack of national policy to VanDerhrei: “We shouldn’t participate in ridiculous social discussions,” she said. “We should participate in valid ones.”

The senior official goes on to deny what has been clearly stated by other Planned Parenthood officials in other settings – Planned Parenthood endangers the health of women to change abortion procedures so they can sell more butchered baby parts.

And then it just gets revolting!

“We’ve just been working with people who want particular tissues, like, you know, they want cardiac, or they want eyes, or they want neural,” says [one doctor to the investigative journalists.] “Certainly, everything we provide–oh, gonads! Oh my God, gonads. Everything we provide is fresh.”

How can they speak about babies’ hearts, eyes, and brains in such a callous and disrespectful way?  These are human beings.

This new tape reinforces what has been uncovered by these investigative journalists in recent months: Planned Parenthood engages in barbaric behavior – butchering babies and selling the body parts – all with one purpose in mind: to boost their bottom line.

It’s twisted. It’s evil. It must be stopped.

This is why we have been fighting big abortion in federal courts and at the Supreme Court for decades. We continue to defend a board member of CMP in federal court.

For years, we have been mobilizing all of our resources on Capitol Hill to defend life by passing common-sense laws to protect women and children.

Later this week, the House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on a bill to defund Planned Parenthood – which receives half a billion dollars of taxpayer funds each and every year.

Also under consideration this week:  a bill that would protect innocent lives born during botched abortions.

It makes perfect sense that we should defend every living life and ensure hundreds of millions of our taxpayer dollars go to community health centers that truly help women instead of aiding in the murder of thousands.

And next week, the Senate is scheduled to vote for the first time on the late-term abortion ban to end abortions after 20 weeks when science proves they can feel pain. The House of Representatives already passed this bill and it’s time for the Senate to do the right thing and send this law to the President’s desk.

Please join us in our fight to be a voice for the voiceless and actively work to protect the dignity of every human life, no matter how small.
