Is the refusal of Congress to fund necessary protection along our southern border cause for declaring a national emergency and using Department of Defense dollars for border security?

We think so, and so does the President.

On today’s broadcast, we discussed President Trump’s threat to “declare a national emergency” if the Left in Congress continue to refuse to properly secure our southern border with Mexico.

Critics have stated the President doesn’t have the authority to declare this a national emergency, but they’ve been proven wrong, by a DEMOCRAT.

Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA), Chairman of the Armed Services Committee, admitted that yes, the President actually does have t he authority to declare a national emergency, stating: “There is a provision in law that says a president can declare an emergency. It’s been done a number of times.”

Smith went on to say “primarily it’s done in Afghanistan and Iraq.” If it’s been done there, it can certainly be done here to protect Americans.

The money is already there. There are discretionary funds in the military budget – to the tune of $20 billion – for military construction. The President is the Commander-in-Chief and, in an emergency, could access this money to secure our southern border.

It’s likely the President would be challenged by the Left in court, as they remain committed to leaving our southern border susceptible to illegal immigration, as well as drug and human trafficking. I’ve already instructed our legal team to draft a brief in support of securing our border should the President declare a national emergency.

We also gave an update on the case of the Ohio doctor who tweeted venomous anti-Semitic statements, threatening to endanger Jewish patients by purposely giving them the “wrong meds.” She has since released a so-called “apology,” where she actually doubled down on her statements blaming Israel. Now , more tweets have been uncovered, including one she sent while in med school that actually went beyond just threatening Jews.

“People who support Israel should have their immune cells killed so they can see how it feels to not be able to defend yourself for foreign invaders.”

We sent a letter to the Ohio State Medical Board last week demanding her medical license be taken away. Now we’re preparing another letter as more of her deadly hatred and vitriol continues to bubble up to the surface.

As I said in my article for Fox News today, threats to cause harm must never be tolerated in any setting, including the medical field. This doctor cannot be allowed to practice medicine and put any lives in danger.
