DOJ officials were briefed on the Steele Dossier months before the election, disproving the Left’s current narrative. More disturbing, they were well aware it was paid for by the Clinton campaign.

Today on the show we discussed new testimony from DOJ official Bruce Ohr, in which Ohr admitted to having shared information about the Steele Dossier with senior FBI officials, as well as DOJ prosecutors, three months BEFORE the election.

New House Intelligence Committee Chairman, Congressman Adam Schiff, previously claimed in a memo that Bruce Ohr did not have contact with the FBI until weeks after the election, and they had no knowledge of the controversial dossier prior to then.

The Steele Dossier, put together by former British spy Christopher Steele, was an attempt to discredit President Trump before he was elected.

In fact, Bruce Ohr testified to Congress that he warned senior FBI and DOJ officials that Steele desperately wanted to keep Donald Trump from being elected, and that the validity of the information had not been corroborated. Ohr also warned that the Steele Dossier was funded by the Clinton presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

Yet the dossier was still used to obtain FISA warrants to investigate then-candidate Trump’s campaign and spy on American citizens.

As we’ve said, this dossier is clearly the fruit of the poisonous tree, paid for by a political adversary, and could not be trusted. Both DOJ and FBI officials knew it, but used it anyway.

The FBI and DOJ broke the sacred trust of the American people. It must be fixed.
