President Donald Trump won the Iowa caucus in stunning fashion (Governor Ron DeSantis edged former Governor Nikki Haley for second place). The race was called only about 30 minutes after the results started trickling in.

Just how big was President Trump’s victory? Fox News reports on the largest win margin in Iowa caucus history:

Former President Donald Trump just barely failed to sweep the entire Iowa Caucus on Monday after losing just one out of the state’s 99 counties — reportedly by a single vote.

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley won Johnson County with 1,271 votes, approximately 35.5% of the vote. Trump received 1,270 votes, according to GOP officials in the state.

Haley’s single-vote advantage disrupts the former president’s otherwise clean sweep of the Hawkeye State’s caucus.

Clearly, President Trump is the candidate of choice in Iowa. Pulling off the biggest win in Iowa caucus history – amid the constant lawfare by the Deep State – is impressive.

What will happen in New Hampshire, a very different primary battleground? It’s an open primary, meaning Democrats and Republicans can vote in the GOP primary. Also, it’s a more moderate state.

Haley needs a monumental victory in New Hampshire to give her campaign momentum going into the South Carolina primary (her home state). And DeSantis reportedly is running low on funds – it’s not looking good for him. Both candidates have a lot of ground to make up if they want to challenge President Trump for the 2024 GOP nomination.

As a result of last night’s results, Vivek Ramaswamy suspended his campaign. He had about 8% support and fully endorsed President Trump. This will likely bolster President Trump’s numbers even more.

Of course, the results in Iowa are moot if the radical Left is successful in twisting the 14th Amendment to keep President Trump off the 2024 ballot. If successful, the Left will deny millions of Americans the right to vote for the candidate of their choice.
