Antisemitism has no place – especially in Congress.
Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (MI-12) has repeatedly engaged in anti-American, antisemitic rhetoric.
She’s attacked Jews and anyone who supports Israel as having a dual allegiance – another antisemitic trope. She even accused the U.S. and Israel of "unthinkable atrocities," comparing them to the Taliban and Hamas terrorists. Rep. Tlaib said she has a “calming feeling” about the Holocaust.
Someone espousing these bigoted views should not have access to classified information or sit on congressional committees such as the Oversight and Accountability Committee.
At the ACLJ, we’re fully engaged in the battle to defend Israel’s interests and the Jewish people from these kinds of hateful attacks. We’re fighting at the U.N. and the International Criminal Court. Now, we have to fight in our own Congress to defend Israel.
Leadership in Congress MUST fully address this issue.
Take action with us. Fight back against antisemitism. Demand Rep. Rashida Tlaib be removed from her committees and censured.
