Christians face horrific atrocities: torture, enslavement, murder, and even genocide.
Shahzad Masih, a 16-year-old Christian boy when arrested, was falsely charged with blasphemy and has just been sentenced to execution by hanging in Pakistan. At the ACLJ, we’ve launched one of the largest legal advocacy efforts to defend dying Christians, including this young Christian, from genocide and death. We’re directly engaging with world leaders, on Capitol Hill, with legal demand letters, through written submissions and oral interventions at the U.N., and directly fighting at Pakistan’s Supreme Court. We’re mobilizing our international offices in the most expansive campaign for the persecuted Church we’ve ever undertaken.
