Defend Pastors Criminally Cited for Worshiping in Public

The government is criminalizing Christian ministry.

Pastors were criminally cited for worshiping, praying, studying Scripture, and feeding the homeless in a public park.

For years, churches in Northglenn, Colorado, peacefully gathered to worship and serve the needy. No riots. No violence. No disruption.

Then city officials shut them down.

Police questioned church membership. Pastors were hauled into court. Christian ministry was treated like a public threat – while secular groups kept using the same park without punishment.

This is blatant religious discrimination. It’s unconstitutional. And it cannot stand.

If city officials can punish pastors for worshiping and serving the homeless in public, every church, ministry, and believer is in danger.

The ACLJ is taking legal action in federal court to defeat these criminal citations, defend these pastors, and stop the government from turning Christian ministry into a crime.
