Defend the Bladensburg WWI Memorial Cross

For nearly 90 years, a World War I memorial cross has honored our nation’s bravest heroes.

Now, atheists are suing to tear down this historic war monument in Maryland – the Bladensburg Cross.

Atheists have taken aim at the memorial, saying they are “shocked” and “upset” that a cross could honor fallen veterans.

These claims are absolutely ridiculous.

To allow atheists who are “upset” about the cross to tear it down would dishonor our veterans. Those who fought valiantly for our nation a century ago deserve to have their memory cherished by their memorial – the Bladensburg Cross.

The ACLJ has filed a critical amicus brief at the Supreme Court to defend the cross and honor our veterans. Stand with us. Sign on to our committee today.

On October 3, 1789, President George Washington issued the first-ever Thanksgiving Proclamation, declaring November 26, 1789 a day of Thanksgiving. While reading the entire...

Breaking news again . . . our National Motto has come under attack. The National Motto of the United States of America is: “In God We Trust .” Now you may not have even known about that. You may not have even known what our National Motto is as it's not something we often discuss in our country.

Angry Atheists Demand a WWI Memorial Cross be Torn Down

By Jordan Sekulow1568135071329

This is the story of a major victory for our veterans, for those who died serving our country and for religious liberty at the Supreme Court. A few years ago I went to visit the Memorial Cross in Bladensburg, Maryland right outside of Washington, DC. It has the names of the servicemen who died from...
