The ACLJ: Needed Now, More Than Ever (Sekulow Recap) | American Center for Law and Justice

Looking ahead, the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) is needed now more than ever.

Today on Sekulow, we are looking ahead to a new year with more challenges. I think that’s an understatement to say the least. We are operating with a new theme for 2021 at the ACLJ. We had our board meeting with our related organizations to decide how we are taking on the challenges of 2021. That theme is: The ACLJ: Needed Now, More Than Ever.

Why that theme? Because the challenges we are going to be facing in 2021 and beyond are going to be great. I can tell you that already. The fact of the matter is we have been through this before. We are not going to be caught off guard with all the changes that are likely going to be place in the next several weeks. We’ve been through this before with the Obama Administration.

You’ve got to understand that we are going to be looking at a whole new set of issues. It’s going to be government accountability in ways we’ve never imagined before. It’s going to be oversight of Congress in ways we’ve never imagined before. We are at the threshold of a Georgia election that will determine who controls the United States Senate. That is days away and is going to have a big impact on all of this.

We as an organization have to look at all of these factors and say ok, how do we best utilize our best resources to defend the Constitution, to protect liberty, to protect life, to protect freedom? This is going to be a big challenge.

Challenge number one is the state of Georgia. I’m going to say this every day this week. You are days away from deciding who controls the Senate. The Senate is in your hands. We effectively have seen a national election playing out in just days, and that’s first up amongst the many more challenges that are going to play out in 2021. We never tell you how to vote on this broadcast but we do want to make sure you understand the importance.

As we head into 2021 with the understanding that our work is needed more than ever. We need your help to do that work. We are in the final days of our Matching Challenge. The Matching Challenge means that every donation is effectively doubled. $5 becomes $10. $10 becomes $20. As we prepare and begin to take on the challenges that 2021 brings, we ask you to join us in that effort and donate today.

The full broadcast is complete with much more discussion of the challenges that lie ahead for our country in 2021 and how the ACLJ is preparing to meet them in the fight for liberty.
