At the ACLJ we are shocked at the devastation and loss in Oklahoma.  Like the rest of the nation, we watched as the tornado cut a swathe of destruction through homes, businesses, and – yes – even schools.  We saw the desperate and courageous rescue efforts.  We prayed, but sometimes we have to do more.

James Chapter 2 declares:

14 What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can [that faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? 17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.

Many of us can’t be in Oklahoma City to help dig through the rubble, feed the homeless, and care for the wounded, but we can support those who are there.  Today on radio we’re directing listeners to Conduit Mission, an outstanding ministry that is putting its efforts into Oklahoma City relief.

Click here to give to Conduit Mission’s relief efforts.  Pray for Oklahoma, not just for the recovery but also for protection as more storms are forecast.

And, in the midst of tragedy, we rest on the words of our Savior: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”

May God bless and comfort the people of Oklahoma.
