It is stunning.  An investigative news report from Fox News sets the stage:

"An Al Qaeda leader, the head of a designated terror organization and a confessed jihadist-in-training are among a "Who's Who" of controversial figures who have participated in weekly prayer sessions on Capitol Hill since the 2001 terror attacks, an investigation by FoxNews.com reveals."

Who would have imagined a new threat to our national security coming from prayer meetings on Capitol Hill?  What we are now learning is most disturbing - that for years now, a Muslim prayer group - which includes some of the most dangerous terrorists in the world - has been meeting at the U.S. Capitol on a regular basis.

The Fox News report, which you can read in its entirety here, reveals that a 'Who's Who' in the Muslim terror world meet at the Capitol regularly - even the notorious Anwar al-Awlaki - the US-born, Al-Qaeda terrorist on the US Government's kill list - has attended these meetings.

That's right.  The very people who are trying to destroy America - using our Capitol as a meeting place - the seat of U.S. legislative power - a symbol of our freedom - our democratic republic.

Talk about a disturbing double standard.  This Muslim prayer group has a green light to meet on Capitol Hill and invite known terrorists to participate.  No problem.  No concerns.   But don't let Franklin Graham participate in a prayer event in Washington.  Remember that?  In May, pro-Muslim groups pressured the Pentagon into rescinding an invitation to Graham to participate in the Pentagon's National Day of Prayer event.  Unbelievable.

This represents a serious threat to our national security.  I have mobilized our National Security Legal Team.  We're demanding that the Department of Justice step-in and immediately put a stop to these meetings and conduct a thorough investigation.  There needs to be an immediate halt to these meetings.  We need to get to the bottom of who's behind this. The fact is that if laws were indeed violated, those who are determined to be responsible should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Our national security is at risk.

Stand with us now and sign on to our Demand Letter to the Department of Justice.  This national security risk is unacceptable and action must be taken now.
