A Christian law firm that defends religious freedom and the Constitution is urging Secretary of State Chuck Hagel to cut ties with an anti-Christian extremist who has been advising the Pentagon on crafting policies on “religious tolerance” for the military.

The American Center for Law and Justice sent a letter to Hagel arguing that the views of Mikey Weinstein of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation "do not comport with Supreme Court opinions on permissible religious expression." The letter [PDF] urges the secretary of defense to discontinue using Weinstein as a consultant on religious tolerance: . . .
