White House Attention on U.N. Anti-Christian Resolution?
As you know, we have pushed hard to get out the word about a very dangerous and troubling resolution at the United Nations offered by the Organization of The Islamic Conference a resolution called Combating Defamation of Religions. For more information on the U.N. resolution, click here.
The problem: this resolution actually attacks Christianity and moves to criminalize it. Our attorneys are working on this issue, and the European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ) is vigorously opposing this measure. At the same time, I want to let you know that this issue is being talked about in the White House.
One of the first news organizations to cover the importance of this issue, WorldNetDaily, asked a question about this resolution to White House Press Secretary Dana Perino. Heres the transcript of that exchange:

For years, Islamic states have been trying to push through the United Nations a proposal that it's called "combating the defamation of religion," which the American Center for Law and Justice has deplored as anti-Christian bigotry, and which the European Center for Law and Justice calls direct violation of international law. And my question: What is the White House position on this?
