“We don’t have a strategy yet” to deal with ISIS jihadists.

That’s what President Obama announced to the world, including the terrorist army inflicting genocide on Christians in Iraq and Syria.

The worst part is, President Obama does have a strategy.  He’s had one from the day he took office.  Apologize for America, appease the radical Muslim world, and ignore the threat posed by jihad.

The latest news makes this crystal clear.  As Fox News reports:

President Obama was given detailed and specific intelligence about the rise of the Islamic State as part of his daily briefing for at least a year before the group seized large swaths of territory over the summer, a former Pentagon official told Fox News. . . .

The source said a policymaker "could not come away with any other impression: This is getting bad."

In fact, unlike his predecessors in office, President “Obama generally was not known to come back to the intelligence community with further requests for information based on the daily report.”

In other words, he hasn’t been asking the kind of questions you would need to ask to formulate a strategy against these barbaric jihadists.

Instead, he’s been willfully ignoring the threat.  He has dismissively referred to ISIS as a “JV” terrorist team.  He publicly stated that you don’t “play whack-a-mole wherever these terrorist organizations may pop up.”

Now, we are seeing the results of that calculated strategy to deny, dismiss, and deflect the world’s attention away from the atrocities perpetrated by these evil terrorists.

Regardless of his reasoning for this strategy, his intent, or the fallacy of his preconceived notions about the world of radical Islam, it is the strategy that our Commander-in-Chief has implemented throughout his presidency.

His military killed Osama bin Laden, and he sanctimoniously declared al Qaeda “on the run” and with it the ideology of radical Islam.

He was wrong, but that was his tactic.

We now see the results of this strategy.  ISIS is slaughtering Christians in Iraq and Syria.  It has publically and heinously beheaded one Christian American journalist, and now there are reports of ISIS barbarically executing another American journalist.

It’s not time for a strategy, any strategy, to confront ISIS; it’s time of a change of course.  It’s time to recognize radical Islam, jihadists like ISIS in all their many forms and groups.

Whether it’s Hamas, or al Qaeda, or Boko Haram, or Islamic Jihad, or Hezbollah, or ISIS, we must confront the threat posed by jihadists head on.

President Obama must change his strategy.  Join us at the ACLJ as we demand President Obama defend Christians and stop ISIS before it’s too late.  Sign our petition today.
