ISIS is a threat that cannot be ignored.  Yet that is exactly what President Obama has thus far done.

ACLJ Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow and author of the new book Rise of ISIS: A Threat We Can’t Ignore discussed the real and present danger that ISIS poses to America, the Church, and the world on the 700 Club.

ISIS is more lethal than al Qaeda.  It has more money than al Qaeda, making by some estimates over a million dollars a day.  It has more fighters than al Qaeda ever did, by tens of thousands.  And it has more land than al Qaeda, establishing a caliphate throughout large swaths of Iraq and Syria.

But it’s not just a threat to the Middle East region.  ISIS has its sights set on America.  It has even proclaimed that the ISIS flag will fly over the White House.

Yet President Obama continues to stick to his willfully blind narrative of the Middle East, ignoring not only the real threat that ISIS poses but also their motive – a motive that is allowing them to build their jihadist army by hundreds and thousands of new fighters each day.

ISIS is radical Islamic to it’s core and unmistakably brutal in its application of Shariah law.

As Jay explains in Rise of ISIS, America must lead the charge to defeat ISIS.  We have the military capability but lack the decisive leadership needed to stop the jihadist threat.  The American people must stand up and demand an end to the genocide.

But to fight this enemy, we must truly understand the danger, the evil, that it is.  As Jay says, if we ignore this threat, we do so at our own peril.
