A federal lawsuit against Planned Parenthood in Texas is moving forward after a federal court agreed Friday with a suit filed by the American Center for Law and Justice.

The ACLJ alleges that the abortion provider defrauded taxpayers by charging state and federal governments for services not actually provided, unnecessary procedures, and other services not covered under Medicaid or other programs.

The suit asserts that Planned Parenthood regularly falsified patient charts and submitted false claims to the United States and Texas governments for reimbursement. . . .
