The people of Indiana do not want any more federal taxpayer dollars funneled to abortion providers like Planned Parenthood; the nation’s largest provider of abortions receives $363 million in taxpayer funding every year.

We salute Indiana for passing a law ending distribution of millions of its federal dollars to Planned Parenthood. But with the support of the ACLU, Planned Parenthood has filed a federal lawsuit against the state; the Obama Administration is backing Planned Parenthood — and threatening to cut federal Medicaid money to Indiana unless the state reverses the new law.

I stand in full support of the people of Indiana and alongside the American Center for Law and Justice in backing the state’s decision to cut off taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood.
