With the attempted bombing in Times Square, America is once again focused squarely on terrorism and the efforts underway to protect our nation from further attacks.

The investigation continues into the background and the planning behind the attempted bombing in New York.  As this probe continues and authorities examine whether Faisal Shahzad is linked to radical Islamic militants, the Taliban, or al Qaeda, there's growing concern on what could have been done differently - could this suspect have been identified in advance?

There is nothing more important than protecting our way of life in this country - our freedoms, our history, our heritage.  And, as America continues to stand-up against terrorists determined to kill Americans - the American Center for Law and Justice is examining legal and legislative options to keep our country safe.

At the same time, the ACLJ is working to protect something else - a time-honored tradition - the National Day of Prayer - which has been declared unconstitutional by a federal district court.

We're delighted to see so many participated in events across the country yesterday.

As you know, we're preparing an amicus brief supporting the federal government's defense of the National Day of Prayer before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.  We will be representing members of Congress and thousands of concerned Americans like you.

If you haven't take the opportunity to do so alreay, please add your name to our Committee to Protect the National Day of Prayer - and become part of our amicus brief in defending the National Day of Prayer.

You can add your name to the Committee here.
