The American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ) welcomes the news that the Palestinians' effort to gain recognition as a state has failed. Attorney Jordon Sekulow hopes it will be the beginning of a peaceful Middle East.

"The real message from the U.N. is that you are not ready -- not your leadership, not the people who applied today, not your government, not the restructure to be recognized as a member state," he explains. "I mean, you don't have even one leader. You've got split control and all these things, but why would we start meddling in the middle of this problem now by granting you a status?"

So, he advises the Palestinians to go back to the bargaining table. . . .
