Nearly 200,000 Sign Petition Calling for Pastor Youcef’s Release
In just two weeks, more than 189,000 people signed on to the ACLJ’s Petition to Free Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani.
The petition called for Iran to release Pastor Youcef and urged Members of Congress to pass a resolution on his behalf. Last week Congress responded, unanimously passing H. Res. 556, and Senator Vitter has introduced a similar resolution in the Senate.
You can still add your name to this critical petition, and urge the Senate to join the House in demanding Pastor Youcef’s immediate release.
Not only is the outcry for Pastor Youcef’s release resounding in the halls of Congress and across America, it continues to gain momentum around the world.
More than 4,300 people have signed up to Tweet for Youcef, and the ACLJ social media campaign is now reaching over 1.1 million Twitter accounts in 200 countries and territories around the world with daily updates about Pastor Youcef. Join the global call for the release of this persecuted pastor, and Tweet for Youcef today.
We know that Pastor Youcef is still alive today because of the immense outpouring of international support and pressure on the Iranian regime to spare this innocent man’s life, whose only “crime” is becoming a Christian. Please continue to pray, Tweet, and share his story, as we continue fighting for his freedom.
