Can you imagine your children and grandchildren growing up in a land where our National Motto, "In God We Trust," is banned? It could literally happen. Lawyer Michael Newdow is on an all-out campaign to eradicate it in Newdow v. United States Congress. The banning of these four words from our nation's currency would set the stage for the loss of even more religious liberties. We simply cannot allow this to happen! Stand with us as we file our amicus brief with the federal court, arguing for the preservation of our National Motto. Your signature is vitally important today. The deadline for our amicus brief is quickly approaching. Please read the form carefully below and declare your membership with the ACLJ by joining the Committee to Protect Our National Motto.
Committee to Protect Our National Motto
We, as members of the American Center for Law and Justice, stand with those in the United States Congress in the ACLJ's amicus brief asking the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to uphold the constitutionality of our National Motto, "In God We Trust."
We support our nation's motto and believe it is fully constitutional and reflective of the faith on which the United States of America was founded. We believe that any action taken by the federal district court in declaring our motto UNCONSTITUTIONAL is a direct violation of our religious freedom.
