Petition to End IRS Abuse

Petition to End IRS Abuse

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has admitted to intentionally targeting conservative groups since at least 2011.

It has admitted that it searched tax applications for words like “Tea Party” and even “patriot.” Once it found those groups, it made intrusive and unconstitutional inquiries, demanding answers “upon penalty of perjury.”

IRS targets included pro-life and conservative groups in swing states before the 2012 election. This ongoing IRS abuse continues today, as the ACLJ represents dozens of these targeted groups. Using the government for partisan advantage violates a sacred trust.

Petition to End IRS Abuse

President Obama and Members of the United States Congress,

The Internal Revenue Service cannot be used as a weapon against political enemies. There must be a thorough investigation of IRS abuse, and those responsible must be punished. There is no excuse for turning the full power of the IRS on American citizens.

Thank you for signing the petition!

We're taking on the unlimited resources of the Obama Administration in federal court to hold the abusive IRS accountable. Support our work.

Your voice will have a tremendous impact. Please consider supporting our work with a tax-deductible donation using the form to the right. A tax-deductible gift today will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a group of ACLJ Members. Every $10 gift becomes $20 for the work of the ACLJ. Thank you.

Make this a monthly tax-deductible gift.

Angry Atheists Try to Ban Gideon Bibles

By Jay Sekulow1447350056745

The virulently anti-Christian Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) is at it once again. What are these atheists so angry about this time? Apparently, Gideon Bibles resting in hotel table drawers are just too much to bear for the self-proclaimed freethinkers, atheists, and agnostics at FFRF.
