We are close to victory – a big victory for liberty.

The Assistant Commerce Secretary told Congress that the Obama Administration is considering renewing a key contract that would maintain American control over the Internet – keeping it out of Russian and Chinese hands.

This was an important statement, but we can’t rest.

We can’t be sure we’ve won until the Commerce Department has renewed its contract. Let’s go directly to the Obama Administration with a new, powerful petition.

Commerce Department, Save the Internet and Renew Your Contract

Dear Secretary of Commerce,

You’ve heard from the American people and from Congress. The Internet must remain free. Do not risk Russian and Chinese censorship. Renew the contract that maintains American control.
