Glory to God - Merry Christmas!

Christmas is a great time of year. As my family celebrates the birth of our Lord and Savior, like a lot of families, we spend some time taking a look back at the events of the past year. The challenges - the blessings - and what's ahead in the new year.

And while we're thankful for the many blessings that our nation has been given, we know that this will be a difficult Christmas for many. Yes, there are significant challenges. Significant problems.

But, as Christians, we do not face these challenges and problems alone. We know that our God is merciful and provides strength, comfort, and healing - even in the most dire of circumstances. This Christmas, it is my prayer that the joy and love of Jesus Christ touch the hearts of millions in this nation and around the globe - providing much needed hope in a world filled with chaos and confusion.

We also remember those who can't be home this Christmas. Especially the men and women in the Armed Forces who give so generously of their time and talent to protect our nation - to defend our freedoms - here at home and on distant battlefields abroad. Our thoughts and prayers are with them this Christmas season.

As you gather with family and friends this Christmas, I want to extend to you - on behalf of my family and the ACLJ family - a very Merry Christmas.
