The recent decision by a federal court in Wisconsin tossing out a lawsuit challenging the Pledge of Allegiance and the national motto - "One Nation, Under God" - from the Capitol Visitor Center in Washington, DC underscores the fact that the legal assault on our religious heritage continues.

As you know, we represented 50 members of Congress in our amicus brief - standing up for the Pledge and the national motto in this case.  While the decision represents an important victory, it is only the beginning.  The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), which initiated the lawsuit, won't stand idly by and accept this decision.  As they consider the legal options, the group's founder said the FFRF will 'soldier on' in challenging the engravings.

And, the FFRF is not alone.  There are other legal challenges by groups like the ACLU and others - trying to re-write history - trying to remove any vestige of our faith and mention of God from the public arena.  Whether it's defending the National Day of Prayer or displays like the long-standing cross in California's Mojave Desert, we remain dedicated to defending our religious heritage.

As we prepare for new legal battles, join with us - add your name to our Committee to Protect America's Religious Heritage - a committee that will be represented in future friend-of-the-court briefs we file in some of the most critical cases of our time.   Add your name now.
