The issue of judicial filibusters is one of the key issues in the 109th Congress.  The ACLJ is communicating with members of the Senate urging a much needed reform of the rules regarding the use of the judicial filibuster.  ACLJ has circulated a comprehensive memo to Senate Leadership and members of the Senate Judiciary Committee recommending that the rules be amended to insure qualified nominees to the federal bench receive an up-or-down vote by the full Senate.
