The ACLJ Protects the Distribution of Easter Event Flyers at Elementary School
An elementary school in Seekonk, Massachusetts refused a Christian student’s request to allow distribution of Easter event flyers, while allowing other students to distribute non-religious flyers. The student’s mother contacted the ACLJ informing us that the school’s Principal confiscated the flyers. Cheerleaders Allowed to Display Bible Verses at Football Games
A court has just ruled that high school cheerleaders who were banned by their school from holding banners with Bible verses have a constitutional free speech right to display those signs at football games. The state court ruled that at least until the case goes to full trial next June, the students have a right to continue displaying the religious messages. Third-Graders Make Cards of Encouragement for Pastor Youcef
The third grade class of Elijah House Academy in Richmond, VA, has made cards of support and encouragement for Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani. Their teacher told the students about Pastor Youcef’s plight as an example of a modern day Daniel, who, like Pastor Youcef, refused to recant his faith in God in the face of execution.
