Christians in Egypt Remember the Massacre One Year Ago
One year ago, dozens of Christians were murdered in Egypt as the nation’s military carried out a brutal massacre. Coptic Christians were peacefully protesting the government’s failure to take any action against a Muslim militia which had burned down a church. Egypt’s military fired on the crowd, running over civilians with their tanks. Yesterday, Christians gathered in Egypt in memory of what transpired a year ago. Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani Writes Moving Letter of “Gratitude” after Release
Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani wrote the following letter to all those who supported him and his stand for Christ, “the cause that I defend,” following his release after nearly 3 years of illegal imprisonment in Iran for his faith. Thankfully, the embassy staff had been alerted to a possible disturbance and had already evacuated the embassy. This attack, however, is a breach of international law and a direct affront to American prestige and influence in Egypt. At the same time, report... Continue Reading

Freedom for Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani; Others Still Face Persecution
What an incredible blessing. As you now know, after nearly three years of imprisonment and facing a death sentence, Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani was released by Iranian officials on Saturday. I want to thank all who stood with us in support of Pastor Youcef. More than three million people received a tweet each day for nearly a year, keeping this important case in the spotlight. While our work in this country and abroad focused on securing Pastor Youcef's unconditional release, I was shocked it hap... Continue Reading
