A Meaningful Memorial Day
Each morning when I raise the American flag outside my house, I remember what my father, a World War II and Korean War veteran, used to say: the red stripes represent those who gave their lives so you can be free. Remembering
On this Memorial Day, many of our members and readers are thinking less of swimming pools, cookouts, and days off than they are of the sacrifices of family and friends – of the faces they’ll never again see this side of heaven. Defending Those Who Fight for Our Freedom
The brave men and women of our military have dedicated their abilities, and even their very lives, to defending the freedoms that we all enjoy in America.
