Gosnell Guilty!
The verdict is in. Kermit Gosnell is guilty of three counts of first-degree murder for killing babies born alive and one count of manslaughter for killing an adult patient. In reaction, Jay Sekulow, ACLJ Chief Counsel, said this: The verdict underscores the fact that killing newborn babies is murder, despite the fact that it commenced during an abortion process. The verdict represents a significant step forward in protecting human life, no matter how young. By rejecting the absurd suggestio... Continue Reading

Kermit Gosnell and the Abortion Movement: In Defense of the Defenseless
As abortionist Kermit Gosnell’s murder trial is in the hands of the jury, abortion’s defenders are out in full force to spin and deflect the attention this trial has garnered from abortion in a broader sense. Recently we wrote an On Faith column explaining how the horror of the Gosnell trial exposed the truth about abortion and the illogic of those who believe that what Gosnell is accused of doing to those infants after they were born would be perfectly acceptable if they were still... 362 Infants Born Alive as Result of Botched Abortions Died in Last Decade
Recently, Planned Parenthood was caught advocating post birth abortion – infanticide. Their lobbyist testified before a state legislature that if a baby was born alive as the result of a botched abortion, Planned Parenthood believed the decision whether to provide that baby struggling for life on the abortion clinic table lifesaving support, “should be between the patient and the health care provider.” In response to public outrage, Planned Parenthood removed its opposition f... Is the Left Launching an Attack on Evangelical Adoption?
Thanks to the publication of Kathryn Joyce’s new book, The Child Catchers: Rescue, Trafficking, and the New Gospel of Adoption (excerpted here in Mother Jones, and Ms. Joyce is interviewed here at NPR), there’s been an online wave of criticism/examination of Evangelicals’ so-called orphan fever. To some, conservative Christians are incentivizing child-trafficking, engaging in a form of cultural imperialism by yanking children from their native cultures and evangelizing them int... Abortion Industry Seeks to Profit from Gosnell Infanticide
The abortion industry is actively seeking to profit from the horrific infanticide abortionist Kermit Gosnell committed and the public outrage his case has caused. Gosnell stands accused of murdering babies born alive after botched abortions in unspeakable ways and allowing 100 illegal late-term abortions to be committed in his clinic. Yet the abortion industry, Planned Parenthood, NARAL Pro-Choice America, and the National Abortion Federation are out to make a profit from this tragedy. In eac... Continue Reading

Dead Babies Don’t Cry
I have a news flash for the abortion industry: Dead babies don’t cry. Neither do dead babies moan, move, or breathe. It sends a chill down my spine to even have to write these words, but dead babies are just that – dead. And if you just so happen to be a late-term abortionist who is holding a dead baby in your hands, there would be no reason for you to sever that dead baby’s spinal cord. No reason at all. Because remember, the baby is dead. And yet, Jack McMahon, defens... Continue Reading

ACLJ Mandate Scorecard: 7-0 in Preliminary Injunction Wins
Just over one year ago, the ACLJ filed the first lawsuit against the HHS Mandate on behalf of a for-profit employer, Frank O’Brien and O’Brien Industrial Holdings. As you know, the Mandate requires many employers to provide coverage of abortion-inducing drugs, contraception, sterilization, and related education and counseling in their employee health plans, with no religious exemption or accommodation for business owners who believe that providing such coverage is immoral. Last Nove... Continue Reading
