What President Obama Didn’t Know and When He Didn’t Know It
The latest line from the White House on the IRS scandal (and most all the scandals his Administration is embroiled in) is what the President doesn’t know can’t hurt him. Press Secretary Jay Carney admitted at the daily press briefing today that the White House Counsel and President Obama’s Chief of Staff were told both that the IRS was being investigated for intentionally targeting the Tea Party and its initial findings that those allegations were credible several weeks ago. ... For this President, Support for Israel is Breaking News
I, along with I am sure many others, just received a breaking news alert from the Wall Street Journal on President Obama’s trip to Israel. The headline: “Obama: Israel has a Right to Defend Itself.” Nothing could be a clearer example of the sad state of affairs of this Administration’s abysmal record on Israel than this. It is breaking news that the President of the United States has acknowledged that our greatest ally in the Middle East has the right to defend itself.... Continue Reading

No Secret Court for Military Drones
It's an issue that's getting a lot of attention - especially since it was discussed last week at a confirmation hearing for CIA director nominee John Brennan. There's debate over the use of remote-controlled drones to attack those who are threats to America. Many are asking – does the President, who serves as Commander-in-Chief, have the authority to order drone attacks to protect our national security? I do believe that the President must have this authority to act. However, it’s ... Continue Reading

White House Has No Statement on Trial of American Citizen in Iran
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney was asked today about American Pastor Saeed Abedini who has been abused and faces trial in Iran for his Christian faith on Monday. He was asked whether the President has been “kept apprised” of the American citizen’s situation. Carney responded that he did not have a statement about Pastor Saeed’s imprisonment in Iran, but that he would “take the question.” The transcript of the question and answer is below and video i... We Give Thanks
Please let me wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving. There is so much to be thankful for, especially a generous God who has blessed this nation. In 1789, the first Federal Congress passed a resolution asking that the President of the United States recommend to the nation a day of Thanksgiving. The request by Congress was clear: "to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal fav... Did Holder Withhold Petraeus Probe from President & Congress?
There are reports that the FBI notified Attorney General Eric Holder months ago that former CIA Director David Petraeus' name had surfaced in an investigation that ultimately uncovered what Petraeus has now admitted - his involvement in an extramarital affair. Holder never told the President. The White House says it first became aware of the Petraeus investigation and affair last Wednesday - the day after the election. The President accepted Petraeus' resignation two days later. Here's the ques... Continue Reading

No, Hurricane Sandy Will Not Delay the Presidential Election
With millions of Americans still without power in the Northeast – and Election Day only six days away – we’ve received a number of questions about the election. Can it be delayed? Will it be delayed? Does the President have the power to delay an election? The short answers are: Yes (at least in theory), no, and no. The date of the popular vote for electors to the electoral college is set by a federal law, the Presidential Election Day Act of 1845, which sets Election Day as t... Continue Reading

Iran Calls Israel a “Cancerous Tumor," But Where is Obama?
Just last week in a state television broadcast under banners that read “Death to Israel” and “Death to America,” Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad exclaimed, “The Zionist regime and the Zionists [i.e. Israel and the Israeli people] are a cancerous tumor. Even if one cell of them is left in one inch of land, in the future this story will repeat.” Iran’s president continued, “With the grace of Allah and help of the nations, in the new Middle Eas...
