Many of you are aware of the Freedom From Religion Foundation’s (FFRF) ridiculous effort to have a 60-year old war memorial in Montana taken down because it depicts Jesus. Atheist Group Launches Legal Attack Against Jesus Statue in Montana
We knew it would happen. The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), an atheist group that continually challenges everything from the National Motto, the National Day of Prayer, and the Pledge of Allegiance, has filed a federal lawsuit challenging the Jesus statue - a Montana war memorial that's been displayed on a mountaintop since the 1950's. Victory: Jesus Statue Remains Because ACLJ Members Spoke Out
In a significant victory for religious liberty, the Flathead National Forest announced today that it would in fact renew the Knights of Columbus special use permit for the display of a statue of Jesus Christ.
